August 20, 2009, SightLine Health Hosts Patient Reunion at Medical Center Facility

HOUSTON, August 20, 2009—Another year, another celebration for SightLine Health cancer survivors! In keeping with tradition, the company recently hosted an evening reunion gala for the patients, physicians and staff.

A tremendous turnout—120 patients and over 20 physicians and staff members— tells the compelling tale of how important these individuals are in each other’s lives. Patients and their former care givers have time to visit and, more importantly, an opportunity to celebrate their personal victories in a supportive, festive environment. The catered event was hosted at the SightLine Houston Medical Center facility.

Kecia Ratcliff, SightLine’s Physician Liaison, was awed by the attendance. “We pride ourselves on our patient-focused atmosphere. It is a true testament to the care we provide that so many patients and families joined us in celebrating another year of service to the community. We were honored to have them with us for such a momentous occasion.” Comments throughout the evening made it clear how former patients feel about SightLine. “I did not want to leave therapy,” said one, “SightLine felt like family.”

“We are proud that what we do has such a tremendous impact on people,” says SightLine’s Management Team. “As a science medical technology is exciting, but the rewarding part of my job is the change we see in the people we serve. Our reunion functions are as important for us as they are for our patients.”
